An opportunity for a qualified Radiation Oncology Medical Physicist has arisen in one of the largest Radiation Oncology Department of New South Wales, Australia.
The medical physics group consists of ten physicists, one physics technician, two trainee medical physicists, and three electronics technicians. The department employs a dedicated research physicist to encourage and assist with research within the department. The medical physics research staff also includes two post doctoral positions, three PhD students and one MSc student. Current research projects include EPID dosimetry, CBCT, and MRI based prostate radiotherapy.
The position is located in Newscastle which is a beautiful coastal town with a population of 450,000 and only 150 kms North of Sydney.
